Not so long ago (19 months to be exact), Knicks point guard Raymond Felton married Ariane. Like many relationships and marriages…it ended. Raymond has been playing pretty badly this season which is understandable. I’m sure he didn’t think he would end up in jail facing several felony weapons charges.
Rumors were flying earlier this morning that Raymond Felton was arrested after flashing his pistol at his soon to be ex-wife. Well, it doesn’t seem to be quite that simple.
Now the story seems to be that his wife’s lawyer handed over the weapon to authorities because she did not feel safe with the (unlicensed) weapon in the home. Did I mention that his estranged wife is a law school student? ::cues song:: These girls ain’t loyal!
I will say I’m surprised that this couple split because it appeared they had a open marriage of sorts with all of his public shenanigans. Paula reportedly was ok with Robin’s flirtatious behavior in the streets….but I suppose that was false. The couple announced that they will always love each other, but are separating after 9 years of marriage. The couple have been dating since high school (20 years) and have a 3 year-old son together.
And for your daily dose of ratchet: Shortly after the VMAs, Robin was pictured grabbing a fan’s butt. Well, she wants everyone and Robin to know that she would be open to a date. Here we go…smh
